Veryovka Ukrainian National Honored Academic Folk Choir with the сharity concert program “We are Ukrainians”.
Veryovka Folk Choir is a professional Ukrainian music ensemble founded in 1943 in Kharkiv with the goal of promoting and spreading Ukrainian culture, traditions, and folk music.
A creative immersion in Ukrainian traditions, history, and culture awaits you.
The highlight of the event will be a musical gratitude performance to the people for supporting Ukraine.
The concert is dedicated to the anniversary of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
Originality and mastery of performance, tunefulness, phrasing, and form, fantastic variety of voices, a combination of emotionality and restraint, spiritual openness and friendly humor, purity, and spontaneity – this is what charmed the hearts of fans of this choir. The organizer of the event is the Peace Committee of Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Office of President of Ukraine.

On June 27, a charity concert “We Are Ukrainians” took place at the Wiener Konzerthaus, organized by the Peace Committee of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
We brought together the Ukrainian diaspora and friends of Ukraine to share our national identity with Europe through music, sincerity, and dignity. Performances by Jamala, Cesár Sampson, and the Veryovka Choir deeply moved the audience.

Oleksandra Paskal, a young gymnast from Chornomorsk, Odesa region, was just five years old when a missile strike in May 2022 changed her life forever. Despite losing her leg in the attack, Sasha has become a symbol of Ukraine’s resilience, continuing her training in rhythmic gymnastics with extraordinary strength of will.
Her dream: to raise Ukraine’s flag in victory at the Paralympic Games — and she’s working every day to make it real.

About us
“We are Ukrainians” is the international cultural diplomacy platform that created the tour of gratitude that starts with the concert. Sharing the deep gratitude for the support and assistance that Ukraine receives every day. Through the arts of dance, singing, painting, video art, etc., to introduce the fundamental values of Ukrainians, which are part of the cultural and intellectual treasury of the world.
The Great Tour of Gratitude will begin in the USA at the end of March with a concert by the H. Veryovka National Academic Ukrainian folk ensemble. In the future, it is planned to organize such events as well as themed brunches, conferences, and performances in Canada and Western Europe.
All events are charitable, and the main goal is to attract funds for the restoration of social infrastructure for children, rehabilitation of military personnel, and demining systems in those regions where the occupation was.
All the funds from the sale of tickets will go to restoring kindergartens in the village of Borodyanka (Ukraine) and physical rehabilitation of military personnel.
